No room to swing? Move the swing.

A ratchet needs swing room right at the bolt. The Offset Extension moves that swing out to open air, and the chain inside carries every turn back down to the socket.

  1. Socket on the buried bolt

The 0.7-inch body slides in where a ratchet head won't.

  2. Ratchet out in the open

Put your ratchet or drill on the far end, where there's room to swing.

  3. The chain carries the turn

A roller chain inside the body turns the socket. Your knuckles stay out of the gap.

See it on a real engine.

No renders, no CGI. This is the tool on an actual engine, turning a bolt a ratchet can't get a swing on.

  • Bolts behind the intake, a bracket or a hose
  • Starter, alternator and bell-housing bolts with no swing room
  • Bolts tucked against the firewall or the frame rail
  • Tight jobs on ATVs, mowers and around the house

Most tool ads promise everything. Here's what this one won't do, so you know exactly what you're buying.

53 ft·lb maxHand ratchet or drillNot a breaker barNo impact guns

53 ft·lb max (72 Nm)

Plenty to run fasteners in and out and snug them up. It's built for reach, not brute force.

Hand ratchet or drill

That's what it's made to be turned with. Steady turns, no hammering.

Not a breaker bar

Crack seized or rusted bolts loose with a breaker bar first. Then spin them out with this.

No impact guns

Hammering a chain drive stretches the chain. We'd rather tell you now than refund you later.

Built for access, not abuse.

The bolt wasn't the problem. The access was.

Shops bill these jobs by labor time, and most of that time goes into taking things apart to reach one fastener.

Illustrative estimate at $150 an hour. Quotes of $550 to $1,200 for jobs like this come up again and again on DIY repair forums.

Skip the access labor

When the ratchet won't swing, you've got three bad options.

Force it

One click at a time for 45 minutes, skinned knuckles, and a real chance of rounding the bolt.

Tear it down

Pull the intake, the shroud or the fan just to make room. A one-hour job turns into your weekend.

Tow it in

Pay a shop for hours of access labor on a job you could do yourself, if you could reach it.

Or move the swing

Socket on the bolt, ratchet in open air. It stays a driveway job.

Straight answers

Will it fit my job?

If you can get a socket onto the bolt and the 15.6-inch body has a path out to open air, it will work. The body is 0.7 inches thick. Send a photo of the spot to info@wildgrizzlytools.store if you want a second opinion before you order.

Can I use it with an impact gun?

No. It's a chain drive rated to 53 ft·lb (72 Nm). Use a hand ratchet or a drill. An impact gun hammers the chain and stretches it.

Will it break a seized bolt loose?

No, and we won't pretend it will. Crack seized or rusted bolts loose with a breaker bar first, then spin them out with this.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 3–5 business days. Delivery then usually takes 8–15 business days. Shipping is free and tracking comes by email.

What's your guarantee?

30 days from the day your order is delivered. Email info@wildgrizzlytools.store first and we'll walk you through it. Returns need to be unused and in the original packaging, and return postage is paid by you. Full details are in our refund policy.

Finish the job.

Socket on the bolt. Ratchet in the open. Done in your own driveway.
